Export Controls & Sanctions

Why this matters

Aerospace technical information can be regulated. The Services and your use of them are subject to US export control and sanctions laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), as well as other laws that apply to you.

Do not submit controlled data

Unless Aerontra has agreed in writing to a specific environment for it, you must not submit the following to the Services:

• Technical data controlled under the ITAR.
• Technology controlled under the EAR above EAR99 that requires authorization for the people or places involved.
• Classified information.
• Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or other information subject to government handling requirements.

Current environment

The Services currently run in a commercial cloud environment. They are not a government cloud environment and are not represented as authorized for ITAR technical data, CUI, or classified work.

Restricted parties and locations

You confirm that you are not on a US government restricted-party list and are not located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive US sanctions. You may not give anyone access in violation of these laws.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for classifying your own data and obtaining any licenses you need. Aerontra does not provide export classification or legal advice. Tell us promptly if controlled data has been submitted by mistake.
